Oxford band practice is an informal group that gives people who want the opportunity to play and improve their ability the opportunity to play with other musicians in a relaxed atmosphere.

After a long break, I am please to announce that the next practice will be on the 31st March from 7pm at Soundworks Studios, Oxford.

This time we will be practising “Another Brick in the Wall (part 2)” by Pink Floyd, so grab a music sheet and learn your part.

For you more aural oriented sorts, you might find this youtube clip useful:

More details will be put out on the group’s Facebook page, I hope to see you there!

  1. Marcus, I would love to come along and be there in a non-participative way; perhaps record a little audio for This Reality Podcast, gather some material to either write an article or produce an audio piece for the show? Would that be OK?

My guitar-playing is not good enough to support any of these roles, but I’m very interested in learning about the concept, what you do and how it all works.
