Due to circumstances beyond our control – namely a technical fault at the recording studio – we have been forced to cancel Thursday’s meeting at Soundworks studio.

We are of course very disappointed with this and I am personally very sorry for the short notice any for inconvenience which may have been caused.

We are attempting to reschedule / find alternative venues and I will be keeping you posted through this blog and our Facebook group as soon as I have any more news.

Keep the faith, and we will be rocking out very soon!

Following on from the fun we had at the last meet, this month we will be revisiting an old 90’s classic by Oasis – “Live Forever”.

The meeting will be held at 7pm on the 28th of April, at Soundworks Studios in Blackbird Leys.

The sheet music for this can be downloaded here, but here’s the video on youtube if you fancy playing it by ear!

More details as always can be found on our Facebook page and the soon-to-be-completely-updated website.

Oxford band practice is an informal group that gives people who want the opportunity to play and improve their ability the opportunity to play with other musicians in a relaxed atmosphere.

After a long break, I am please to announce that the next practice will be on the 31st March from 7pm at Soundworks Studios, Oxford.

This time we will be practising “Another Brick in the Wall (part 2)” by Pink Floyd, so grab a music sheet and learn your part.
